The area is superb for walking and there is an abundance of paths, providing opportunities for hill walking or gentle strolls using canal towpaths and river banks.

The Pembrokeshire coastal area is a great place for walking. The coastal path provides undulating terrain and interesting villages to visit. For a day off you could laze on the beach while the more adventurous try coasteering (investigating the coast in a wet suit with a qualified instructor).

Yorkshire Dales
The Yorkshire Dales are a great place for walking holidays. The three peaks (Ingleborough, Pen Y Ghent and Whernside) offer opportunities for hill walking, while less energetic walkers can choose from beautiful waterfall walks and enjoy the impressive limestone scenery such as Malham Cove.

In the Brecon Beacons you can stay in luxurious cottages in ideal locations for walking. You can choose to bring and prepare all your own food, eat out in local pubs and restaurants or we can provide a buffet breakfast. Prices from £195 depending on numbers and property.

Youth Hostels (open to all ages and no longer involve chores)
Youth Hostel Accommodation is available in Shropshire, the Yorkshire Dales, Devon, Brecon Beacons or the only 5 star Hostel in the UK at Penycwm, Pembrokeshire. A 5 night stay in a Hostel, full board would cost from £180 to £210. We seek out good comfortable hostels with smaller rooms.
