In 2003 Jackie and Steve launched a new group especially for single parents are their children.

Since then we have run many day events but it soon became clear that there was a real need for holidays for single parents and their children. The main benefit of these holidays is that the parents get some adult company while their children have fun and make new friends too.

The holidays organised by Mango are similar to our walking holidays in that they are group holidays. This is a different experience to going on a package tour holiday.

Each holiday is accompanied by a Mango co-ordinator. Initially Jackie and Steve acted as co-ordinators but as the demand grew, other co-ordinators, single parents themselves have been involved.

The role of the co-ordinator is to meet up with the group each day and bring them together to plan the day's activities. Then each evening to meet up with the group again ready for dinner together.

Mango runs holidays for all budgets in the Uk and overseas.
